Account Executive

Job Description

Do you have a passion for digital media and advertising? Do you want to be at the forefront of discovering and learning about the latest and greatest digital technologies? Modea is searching for the next account services superstar to drive account related strategic initiatives. This position will help lead the conceptualization of new digital campaigns, while working with Modea's growing list of Fortune 500 clients. The position is responsible for ensuring that account expectations are exceeded and all strategic initiatives related to an account work.

Reports to: Director of Strategy, Account Services & Business Development


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Interface with assigned accounts daily to provide solutions, manage expectations, and then ensure that these expectations are exceeded
  • Create inspiring, relevant creative briefs and translate insight into ideas and subsequent management of ideas across all media
  • Apply, develop and conduct different primary research techniques to garner and unearth insights that spark the creative process
  • Lead brainstorming sessions that inspire focused creative thought
  • Execution of appropriate creative projects across media - brief writing to presentation
  • Responsible for evaluating and optimizing campaigns in the marketplace through key metrics
    analysis, traffic analysis, multivariate testing, etc.
  • Help drive the digital strategy for the company
  • Owner of assigned accounts, responsible for client and internal team management
  • Ensure that strategy and account direction are on target and meet client defined goals


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 4-6 years experience in advertising as a planner or account executive at a digital agency or on a creative brand's digital team
  • Clear written and verbal presentation skills
  • Ability to present in a manner that influences and leads others around a great idea
  • Ability to see, communicate and implement on the brand level
  • Ability to manage people and projects
  • Able to communicate in a clear, coherent and professional manner
  • Proven quantitative research experience and qualitative research experience (tracking studies, focus groups, in-depth interviews, ethnographic research - any type of interviewing skills) with an ability to see and adapt insights
  • Passion for being at the forefront of the discovery and research of new digital technologies and trends
  • Innate curiosity and aptitude to learn about marketing, brands, advertising, communications, culture, people, etc. a burning desire to dig into what makes them tick
  • Creative and/or an appreciation for creativity
  • Natural manager
  • Self-starter, goes above and beyond on tasks
  • Ability to lead a room/team in thinking
