Responsibilities
- Web application programming primarily in PHP
- Working on cross-functional teams for large integrated web applications.
- Work as part of an internal development team and help further build existing web applications
- Participate in all phases of the web application project, from requirements gathering to deployment.
- Recognize the business objectives and constraints and plan accordingly
Required Experience
- 2+ years professional PHP Web Development
- Experience in one or more OOP languages such as Java, .Net, or Ruby
- Expert knowledge in SQL and experience with MySQL 4 or 5
- Object-oriented design principles in PHP5 a big plus
- MVC design pattern and MVC frameworks (e.g. Ruby on Rails, Zend Framework, CakePHP)
- JSON, XML, SOAP- and REST-based web services - the more the better
- Experience with version control systems (e.g. CVS, Subversion, SourceSafe)
- A long-standing interest about the internet, pop culture, video games and technology trends
- Must be authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis
