Modea is searching for a Director of Strategy and Business Development to head up initiatives for landing and growing accounts with Fortune 500 clients.Responsibilities
- Assists executive team in recommending, establishing, and being accountable to implement strategic and / or tactical new business plans designed to achieve agency goals and objectives
- Presents creative digital campaigns to potential clients
- Researches, analyzes and monitors financial, technological and demographic factors to capitalize on new market / business leads and opportunities
- Evaluates market research and adjusts new business strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions
- Develops strategies for landing key prospects
- Heads up lead generation activities
- Generates new account opportunities to pitch
- Coordinates research for all prospective new accounts
- Initiates and manages effective relationships with selected, developed leads on an ongoing basis
- Coordinates presentation/pitch approaches
- Heads up internal marketing initiatives
Requirements
- Five of more years of experience at an interactive agency, interactive department, or traditional agency with a heavy focus on digital media
- Five or more years of experience in strategic planning initiatives
- Ability to think creatively and evidence of success in pitching big brand accounts and landing them
- Thorough knowledge of sales, advertising, and digital media, including active participation in trade associations and deep knowledge of competitors
- Excellent presentation and negotiation skills
- Proven leadership abilities
- Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret information from a variety of sources, such as trade journals, research reports, white papers and cross-tabulated survey data
